ABSGConsulting Inc. (ABS Consulting), a subsidiary of ABS Group, has signeda Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate with a consortium ofresearch, testing and certification bodies in Taiwan to advance technicalknowledge and offshore wind capabilities.
The MOU was signed by a third party certification team organised by Taiwan´sBureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection, which includes: CR ClassificationSociety, Ship and Ocean Industries R&D Center, Metal Industries R&DCenter in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Electronics Testing Center Taiwan, TaiwanElectric Research and Testing Center, and Taiwan Institute of EconomicResearch.
This collaboration with Taiwanese stakeholders aims to promote the exchangeof technical information in the areas of offshore wind inspection and verification,safety and risk management and certification, as well as technology innovation.
