Aftercompleting an inspection and maintenance campaign for an oil and gas companyin the Dutch sector of the North Sea, DPGalynahas won another assignment, this time for maintenance in the offshore windindustry.

Within two hours of contract notification DPGalynasailed to Bremerhaven where the vessel is expected to arrive on today (13thJune). There she will go straight to the contract to support the maintenanceof an unnamed German wind farm.

DPGalynaandher sister vessel DP Gezina are equipped with an Ampelmann gangway.The vessels have 38 cabins with 50 beds for client occupancy. They havelow air draft to ensure the safety of the customer turbines says ChevalierFloatels.

Dutch vessel owner, Chevalier Floatels, owner of walk to work vessels andaccommodation barges was contracted in April by DEME-group to supply thefloatel Rossinito accommodate crew working on the LivingStone.
